As licensed financial professionals, the law imposes a fiduciary duty to put the interests of our clients ahead of our own. But regardless of legal obligations, we believe that is just the right thing to do. Our clients have placed a tremendous amount of trust in us by allowing us to oversee their retirement savings. We owe it to them to repay that trust by ensuring that our own interests do not interfere with our duties to our clients.
Andrew Stringer, FEFA Financial's founder and current CEO started the FEFA brand almost a decade ago, at age 24, while living in South Florida. Andrew had recently graduated from Florida International University with his Masters in Finance and quickly decided there would not be a better time to start a company than while young and without personal responsibilities.
The idea for FEFA came when he came into contact with life insurance agents from multiple agencies that focused on educating federal employees on how expensive their employer's life insurance becomes as they age. And although, he did not want to pursue a career path that focused solely on the sale of life insurance, this did inspire a much bigger idea which would later turn into FEFA's mission statement, "To be a truly comprehensive financial strategy service that not only provides the services it gets directly paid for but also does anything it can for the betterment of our client's financial situation."
